On to the review
*Note,I havent played the game as I dun own an Ori copy and my PSP recently got bricked, aka I have to downgrade it to Custom Firmware to play fake games*

(We at the forums are currently working hard and keeping up to crack the game for u guys out there)

The playable units selection line up certainly grew big this time. Its nearly 2.5 times that of the original Gundam vs Gundam, its prequel. Many playable units each with distinctive gameplay and "unique to self" skills. The new PSP units are certainly a welcomed addition to the band of Gundams already playable.

Maps too have grown, original GvG maps are included and they certainly expanded the playable Courses from 8 to 11 now. *Course/Routes A-K are playable in arcade mode*

I can't say much bout the campaign mode aka PLUS mode.It certainly is nice but I'll blog bout this once the Custom ver. of the game comes out.

Units

Reborns Gundam certainly plays out well being the lead villain in the Gundam 00 series.Yes,it does have the "Im bad ass" aura and it certainly does have the unique Fang/Funnel attack. While the targeting of the Fangs are relatively dissapointing for balance purposes, the melee and swinging of its big beam saber is extremely lethal and damaging.Reborns Cannon can be used by pressing the (X and Square button) at the same time to quickly hover and fire a barrage of beams for cover.

Trans-Am mode allows R.G's beam rifle to change to some sort of big grinding laser.Good for downing enemies while u finish off the other with ur sword un-interrputed.Sadly its Trans-Am fails to provide much cover unlike the after images from Exia/00 Raiser or F-91.U can still EASILY get shot and someone can drive a sword right thru u while ur in Trans-Am with much ease.Be careful bout abusing that. This ain't the Exia or 00 Raise ;)

Assist is the Gadessa using a grinding shot.Pretty good for a distraction.Decent rifle, good melee combos but sadly the Fangs/Funnels juz cant hit the enemy properly. They shoot EVERYWHERE except the enemy. -_- Certainly Class A Gundam if u ask me and will give players trouble on LAN Vs mode.

00 Raiser is way overpowered.Assist is the Seravee shooting a Slow Big Ball of Death that mows anything down along its path.Good to use it after u've downed and enemy and they are attempting to get up.Otherwise, the ball is pretty much DODGEABLE.Trans-Am gives new melee sets and after images which screw up ur aiming. And for those who manage to end the battle with Trans-Am,u'll be rewarded with a nice pose of 00 Raiser releasing massive amounts of GN particle.

The-O returns to become an unlockable this time. Its sub skill allows it to use the Awakening system *From ZGundam vs Gundam* where u can utilize Speed,Assault or Recovery to ur benefit.Assault will doube ur attack damage,Speed gives near unlimited boost while recovery gives u extra 100 hp after 'death'.The-O's assist is the Bolindak Samahn which allows the player to see it's opponents boost gauge.

Providence gained new charge attacks and melee combos. Its assist is the green GuAIZ.It now can unleash a devasating undodgeable Dragoon combo which leech off all its ammo to deal big amount of damage.

Wing 0 Custom can't block physically as it got no shield, but pressing X and Square while its flying allows it to cover itself with the pair of wings temporarily decreasing damage received and blocking certain projectiles. The twin beam rifle can be fired continuos twice and the charge shot can now be upgraded to level 3.Melee orientated and it does have a few nice thrust and multi-slash combos.Deadly ;)

Nataku certainly is deadly close and far.It can toss its trident making a 360 deg. turn and can unleash the twin dragon arms at u.

Due to the Custom firmware coming out on 15th Dec,guess I'll have to wait till then to play the game.
But if I can't hold it,maybe Ori ftw eh?

Till then,
Will give a 2nd review once I got the game.
