Swans

*Swans*

Gliding through water
Never at once falter
Neither stop to ponder
Have they ever wonder..?

Glittering sunlight
Casted of water,bright
Does truth always glide
Do thoughts always slide?

Pearl black eyes
As clear as the skies
Do they know cries
Or lay deaf,non wise~

Snow white feathers
Know no harsh weathers
Though harsh rain,splatter
They shine with glitter..

Does one know the pain?
For they waddle in vain
Beauty subjective
Words considered futile..

Elegance in mind
For we are blind
Truth is far fine
Sealed deep,try to find..

And those who lay eye
May be blind to thy
But thou soul,a cloud
Trying to shine past,proud

Words are a beauty
But meanings,not fully
Soul deep,its trully..
A hidden letter to thee..

For they remain at heart
So does this part
Endless gliding,on thou cart
A fool's journey,called art..

"I've always wondered about swans.I remember watching a show in which a girl was asked what animal she would wanna be.And it appears the answer was Swan.Bcuz of all the animals that worked hard to survive, the Swan is seen as a beauty gliding through water. But in fact,it paddles hard and strokes itself to stir around. She did not want her hardship to be felt by others,so that she wouldn't be aided all the time such as to rely too much on other ppl.. And she wanted to keep a still face displaying elegance in overcoming hardship..

Thus I used the swan as a model for this poem.Basically the swan's characteristics were used to rhyme with the words. And I created sumthing with a small taste of "Emo-ness" and yet might be inspiring to those who bother to observe it artistically.

In the process I did slide in some personal thoughts that I have. Not that Im having an issue. But I do wanna express the theme together with the rhyme that goes along.Whatever that happened this year came with a lesson and I proudly believe we juz have to cut a way across..so hence I left them squished into the poem..

Of them all,I do wish to highlight the beauty of words laid motionless in the heart.Whatever that means, its up 2 u to interpret. But I do find them more comforting and a soft zone to turn to instead of spewing things out all the time.Sumtimes the best way to show or tell is to leak them through the heart, and not the mouth.Perhaps the mouth is far too rough from the words we use to handle a delicate matter.. And the heart is best used to leak them out through feelings..
Much like how the swan only appears elegant through top,it's own inner feelings of hardship are hidden beneath the depths of water..

And yet after years of drifting,we lost our aim and need to re-adjust ourselves again. The words in the heart have wilted and changed in terms of meaning.Wilting doesnt mean sumthing bad,for those seeds juz have to be planted again. But this aim falters from time to time and we might loose ourselves. Its important not to forget this aim..but I feel that incase if we did choose to continue down said path of wilting, then it is none other than a lost art.Taken only objectively, and not appreciated subjectively..

I certainly became a lost picture not long ago,and Im still planting these seeds again...finding my own inner values in the process..
